Innovative improvement of the production process of abrasive tools - SOP WKP

Modern assortment means more contractors

The Abrasive Articles Manufacturing Plant ANDRE ABRASIVE ARTICLES Robert Andre signed a contract for co-financing of the project called "Innovative improvement of the production process of abrasive tools" carried out under the Sectoral Operational Program - Improvement of the Competitiveness of Enterprises, years 2004 to 2006.

Under this project, the following were purchased:
• numerically controlled vertical lathe for grinding wheel machining
• semi-automatic machine for manufacturing mounting points
• device for testing grinding wheels by acoustic method

Thanks to this:
• four new jobs were created
• new innovative technology of complex grinding wheel treatment was implemented
• a new method for testing the hardness of grinding wheels was introduced
• the adhesives previously used in mounted points were eliminated.
